Jumping Tactics

Jumping is extremely effective. When facing another person that is directly in front of you, you can jump while shooting. This makes it hard for them to aim at you. You can also use this to surprise someone around a corner. If you sprint and then jump right when you reach it, you will go flying past them and they will take a while to respond. While in the air, shoot at them. (duh)

I love doing the jumpshot. especially in ware near the far sides of the stairs. it's a great tactic to learn like Slings said :3

Jumpshots are quite difficult when in first... but I don't think anybody ever uses first anyway. I always jumpshot. Betcha couldn't have done it with the trackpad Female!

When you're jumping off a high area like in warehouse and the Tower, jump when you're nearing the ground in midair and it decreases the amount of damage you take by at least half if not more. If done precisely, you'll take 0 dmg :)

actually slings , when squall was around , i did learn to do the jumpshot with a trackpad :P i just couldn't turn as i did so. i would stand in one play. now with a mouse i can move and jump.

The funny thing about this is that when you hit the ground it still goes 'splat' and looks like you take damage. But yes, this is very useful, especially if you need to quickly get off the sniping platform on warehouse. Just remember that you can't double jump, so you have to jump onto the railing and then run off that.
